Madonna has slammed rapper 50 Cent’s “fake” apology as “bulls**t” after the 46-year-old American star ridiculed her racy Instagram posts and publicly humiliated her.
The 63-year-old pop queen didn’t hold back after refusing to accept her “fake friend’s” allegedly faux apology, after he mocked her Instagram page – where the pop diva is seen daringly posing in lingerie and fishnet tights as she bares all.
Last month, Madonna posted a series of racy images of her wearing saucy and revealing lingerie, flashing her nipples in a couple of Instagram snaps to her 17.2million loyal followers.
Leaving little to the imagination, it wasn’t long before celebrities and fans both raised an eyebrow at the pop icon for flashing their Insta feeds with unsolicited saucy pics.
In an attempt to mock the singer, 50 Cent posted a collection of memes and jokes about her photoshoot on his Instagram page, ridiculing the legend to his 27million followers.
One caption saw him cruelly lash out: “Yo this is the funniest s**t! LOL. That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do like a virgin at 63. […] LMFAO.”
Madonna called 50 Cent – whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III – out for being fake as she blasted him for ‘pretending to be her friend’ and proceeding to make fun of her for his millions of followers to enjoy.
Madonna shared a photo of her and 50 Cent in 2003 looking pally, which led to the rapper admitting he felt guilty for his actions which “must have hurt Madonna’s feelings”.
The rapper had extended his apology via Twitter in an attempt to apologise to the legend – but it has been revealed that the entrepreneur has since deleted his tweet.
He said: “I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up an old MTV photo from 03.
“Ok I’m sorry I did not intend to hurt your feelings. I don’t benefit from this in anyway I said what I thought when I saw the picture because of where I had seen it before I hope you accept my apology.”
Refusing to accept his faux public apology and ensuring that 50 doesn’t get away so lightly, Madonna made her feelings of betrayal known.
In a bizarre Instagram post, Madonna shared a video of her using a cartoon filter in a lengthy video slamming the rapper.
She said: “You were trying to shame me. You were trying to humiliate me. Your apology is fake, it’s bulls**t, and it’s not valid.”
She went on to say that, rather than apologising for hurting her feelings, what 50 should apologise for is “your misogynistic, sexist, ageist behaviour and remarks”.
Madonna said her feelings were not hurt because she did not “take it personally”.
Ensuring that the rapper didn’t leave unscathed, she added: “You say you’re not benefiting from it. Of course you’re benefiting from it, that is what social media is all about.”
She concluded: “Finally, I just want to say, I forgive you. I hope that one day, you wake up and see a different point of view. I wish you all the best.”
She added: “You’re trying to put a limit on when women should be able to feel good about themselves,”
Rounding up her public rant, the pop star finished by slamming 50 for sharing memes which “shame and humiliate other people”, adding “that’s f**ked up” until she wished the actor “all the best.”
