Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is expecting twins with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez – again!
The Portuguese captain, 36, said in an Instagram post: “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins.
“Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you.”
Alongside the message, the duo shared an image of the forward holding up baby scan photos as Georgina snuggles up next to him
Ronaldo is to become a dad for the sixth time, and it will be the second time he has had twins.
He is dad to Cristiano Jr, 11, twins Eva and Mateo, four, and Alana Martina, three, who he had with Georgina.
Three of those children are born to two surrogate mums.
Ronaldo met Georgina, who is Argentine, in Madrid at a Gucci event while he was playing for Real Madrid.
She was working at a Gucci store at the time.
She has followed him to Italy, where he played for Juventus after signing in 2018, and then Manchester after joining Manchester United in September.
After settling in the UK, Cristiano Jr has joined the academy at Old Trafford.
Before joining Real, he played for United in his first spell after moving there from Sporting Lisbon as a teenager.
Since then, he has established himself as one of the greatest players of all time, and is regularly the topic of debate for the infamous ‘GOAT’ tag, standing for greatest of all time.
On the pitch, things have been far less rosy for Ronaldo, whose Manchester United flopped to a disastrous 5-0 home defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was left visibly furious by the Old Trafford meltdown.
He has earned plaudits for his brilliant goal return, but has also drawn critics for his lack of pressing given his age.
Following the game, ex-United star Dimitar Berbatov told Betfair: “Players will be talking a lot between themselves.
“Like back when I was playing, there are a lot of big players in the dressing room at United. Big egos, big mentalities and winning personalities. So, of course it’s difficult for a manager to handle when you lose games 5-0 against your rivals.
“When you watch the game back you can see the frustration from Ronaldo, he was angry, desperate and disappointed with everything that was going on, he didn’t expect a thrashing. I bet he had a lot to say at half time and after the game.
“When you have players of Ronaldo’s stature in the team, they can have an honest conversation, and I hope they did, and strong words if they have to.
“Sometimes the manager will step back, and leave the players to talk it out, say what they want to each other so they can be free, and sometimes the manager may also get involved.”
