Martin Lewis teased fans yesterday as the UK’s favourite money guru said he may don a dress for next week’s episode of The Martin Lewis Money Show.
The 49-year-old dropped the gag after viewers of the popular ITV current affairs series found something more interesting than him.
Instead of listening to what the Manchester-born presenter was saying, their attention was caught by co-host Angellica Bell’s gorgeous patterned dress.
Taking to Twitter, the 49-year-old first shared his relief the show had wrapped up for another week.
He wrote: “Phew. Week 2 over. What a whirlwind. We were pressed for time in part. Hope you understood it all and it helped. I’ve just left the studio and am on my way home”.

But Martin’s 1.2 million followers seemingly weren’t too bothered about the whirlwind episode or any advice the Money Saving Expert shared over its 30-minute runtime.
They were keen to know where stunner Angellica had picked up the red, white and blue silky number, featuring a stylish chain design.
Alongside a snap of the distracting dress in question, the 45-year-old jumped in to say: “Just so you know, Martin, my dress was from @ZARA”.

One follower said: “Gorgeous dress. Looking fabulous as always”.
“You wear it well, Angellicacaca”, added another.
A third chimed in with: “Would love to see Martin dress in a green colour, please”.
And their wish may be Martin’s command, with the telly star quipping: “I do all that work, and all everyone cares about is Angelica’s dress!!! Maybe next week, I’ll wear a nice frock too.”

Fans loved the social media exchange, once again flocking to the comments at the idea of their fave money man sporting a fancy dress.
Angellica was the first to reply with a row of laughing emojis along with a sweet message.
“Love you”, she wrote.
After Martin revealed he shared the sentiment, others came with their own responses.
One follower made an excellent point: “To be fair, you do all the hard work and save us a lot of money so that we can afford to buy nice dresses.”
A second added: “Sorry Martin, I just ordered it from Zara now for my holiday at Xmas. It’s a girl thing” another joined in to say before promising the presenter: “I was still watching you, although it didn’t save me money last night as I ordered the dress today”.
