Naked Attraction viewers were left speechless during Tuesday’s edition of the Channel 4 show.
Single man Tansel told presenter Anna Richardson that he was ready to “meet the one” and settle down.
The contestant explained that he works in the fashion industry and is surrounded by women.
He explained: “There’s no shortage of women around me but I’m tired of the superficialness, I’m ready to meet the one.”
When it came to assessing the bodies of each naked woman, Tansel regularly brought up their pubic hair.
He said: “I prefer without [pubic hair] personally as you can appreciate what’s there and that’s lovely.”
As he walked past each cubicle, he referred to women without pubic hair as “well kept”.
Tansel made the statement three times during his time in the spotlight.
He said about one woman: “Very well kept, I get a sense of cleanliness. This lady has got a good sense of hygiene.”
When it came to giving his opinion to another woman on the show with pubic hair, he said: “I normally prefer without but some reason it goes.”
Viewers couldn’t help but express their disappointment during the episode over Tansel’s remarks about public hair.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Why does he think that pubic hair isn’t hygienic??? That’s literally it’s purpose. Educate yourself.”
A second person posted: “Tired of superficialness, but he’s going to find a woman by judging her on her naked body.”
While a third social media user wrote: “Is calling the clean shaven women hygienic an indirect dig at the woman with the pubes?”
However, in a shock twist, Tansel ended up picking Lucy, the only woman who had pubic hair on the show.
The pair went on a date and shared a kiss but unfortunately there was no spark between them and they didn’t agree to meet up again.
Naked Attraction first graced our television screens back in July 2016.
A clothed person is faced with six naked people who are initially hidden in booths.
Their bodies and faces are gradually revealed through successive rounds, from the feet up.
At each round, the chooser eliminates one naked person until only two are left, when the chooser also takes off their clothes to make the final choice.
The chooser then decides which person they wish to go out with, and the two then go for a fully clothed date.

The programme then presents their feedback after the date.
Numerous complaints about the programme have been made by viewers to the broadcasting watchdog Ofcom due to the full-frontal nudity that is featured in the programme.
Ofcom chose not to investigate as there was nothing that breached their rules: the show was purely a dating show and did not contain any sexual activity, and was shown after the watershed.
Naked Attraction airs Tuesdays on Channel 4 at 10pm
