Neighbours’ Jay Rebecchi (Dhruv Malge) has sparked suspicion from viewers about his motives after he finally reunited with his family at the end of last year.
Jay and Hendrix Grayson (Benny Turland) have gotten involved in dodgy card games in order to make some quick cash, but it doesn’t take long for things to go wrong.
Hendrix has been relying on Jay to count the cards, and when Jay doesn’t show, he ends up losing all of his savings and starts to panic.
Jay quickly tells him that losing makes him less suspicious and then convinces Hendrix to throw his own game to make his money back.

What is he up to?
Hendrix hosts a game at Number 24 in the hope go getting some money, but dangerous Kane soon notices that Jay is counting the cards and sets him up.
Before long, Hendrix loses even more money and needs to ask Kane to sub him at the money, putting himself in serious danger.
Speaking about Jay and Hendrix’s dangerous plan, Benny hinted there could be more to him than meets the eye.
He told Daily Star: “I think Hendrix thinks Jay means well and he doesn’t mean anything conniving but he wants to have some fun and looks up to Hendrix a bit.
“But Hendrix sees Jay as the solution to the problems so with the card games, he’s like let’s do it, because he trusts him.”
He added: “But Jay definitely puts him in a position that he has no real way out.

“But at the moment, their friendship seems to be on a nice path.”
Nicholas Coghlan, who plays Jay’s dad Shane, previously told Daily Star that viewers should suspect that Jay is not who he really says he is., dropping a huge hint about Jay’s identity.
He said: “He is going to be unexpected in a lot of ways.
“There is a lot of unexpected twists, and who he really is is going to be an unexpected thing for people. But it’s a show and some people aren’t really who they seem.”
Is Jay deliberately setting Hendrix up, and what is he hiding?
And will Hendrix be able to get himself out of his gambling problems?
Neighbours continues on Monday ay 1.45pm on Channel 5.
