Nicki Minaj has paid tribute to her former business manager, Angela Kukawski, after she was found dead in the boot of a car.
Taking to Instagram, the R&B rapper posted a heartfelt tribute to her ex-manager, Angela Kukawski, a 55-year-old mother-of-five who had been killed
A heart-broken Nicki wrote on her Instagram story: “Hardest working, most reliable, sweetest person you could ever know. You didn’t deserve this, Angela. My heart is breaking for your children. Rest in peace.”
Angela’s cause of death has been reported as a homicide, following an incident that occurred in California last week.
US news outlet The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the Los Angeles Police Department has arrested Angela’s boyfriend, Jason Barker, who has been charged with murder following Angela’s body being found.
The 55-year-old mother-of-five body was reportedly discovered in the boot of a car parked in Simi Valley, north of Los Angeles.
Several other A-list celebrities paid their tributes to Angela, as the mother-of-five appeared to work alongside many high-profile clients including the Kardashian family and the late Tupac Shakur.
In a statement, the Kardashian-Jenner family said: “Angela was truly the best. She cared about every one of us and made things happen that were impossible.
“She will be greatly missed and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time.”
Angela worked at Boulevard Management in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles – the company specialises in “financial management services to entertainers, athletes, and high-net worth individuals”.
A member of the company said: “We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski. Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
“Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”
