Former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant Nicola McClean has claimed that watching the recent snake task was like “watching oral sex” as she claims star Adam Woodyatt must have “very unhappy wife”.
The star made the comments during an exclusive Facebook Live session with the Daily Star, after Coronation Street star Simon Gregson and EastEnders star Adam took on the Castle Scare Fair challenge, which saw them place their heads in glass tanks filled with snakes as they tried to retrieve the stars using only their tongues.
They also had to move sheep testicles from one tray to another using their mouths.
The mum-of-two said: “I mean, I know its really bad but when I watch people doing those tongue things, it makes me feel like I’m watching them doing something I shouldn’t be watching.
“It’s gross, it makes me cringe it, it makes me think I’m watching them practise oral sex or something. I can’t cope!”
She then agreed and said that Simon’s skills were a lot better than Adam’s who said he “couldn’t get the knack of it”.
She added: “Yeah, it was a bit of a moment where you know one wife is a happy wife and the other wife definitely isn’t.”
The 40-year-old model also blasted the recent exit of This Morning presenter Richard Madeley after he was forced to leave the castle after visiting the hospital.
She told us: “Unfortunately he had to go, it was such a shame – surely they should just test him for Covid and then let him come back….
“I think Richard is going to be a big loss because I genuinely thought he was going to be one of the standout people.”
ITV producers recently announced that Friday’s instalment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be a pre-recorded episode rather than a live show as bosses prepare for Storm Arwen.
The popular reality show broke the news on Friday afternoon ahead of the final episode of the week as viewers prepare to watch fellow contestant Naughty Boy take on the latest Bushtucker Trial.
ITV officials announced: “Tonight’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be broadcast as a pre-recorded show rather than live due to the developing Storm Arwen and precautionary measures we’re putting into place on production.
“Ant & Dec will record their links early evening and these will be played out during tonight’s show,” they clarified.
“Our celebrities will remain inside the castle which is secure and we have contingencies in place to cover all weather scenarios to ensure the safety of our cast and crew.”
I’m A Celeb continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
