Nikki Grahame's final picture as Big Brother star dies after anorexia battle

Big Brother icon Nikki Grahame has passed away at the age of 38 following a long battle with anorexia.

The TV personality had checked into a private hospital last month as she fought an eating disorder.

Her manager confirmed she had died on Friday morning in a statement released on Saturday.

It read: “It is with great sadness, we have to let you know that our dear friend Nikki passed away in the early hours of Friday, 9 April,” he said.

“Please respect the privacy of Nikki’s friends and family at this tragic and difficult time.”

The BB legend can be seen smiling proudly holding a cocktail in one hand while enjoying some time with a friend.

Wearing a white blouse and patterned bottoms, she posed for the camera at a rooftop bar.

One devastated fan penned: “Rest in paradise. True icon.”

Another added: “I’m so sorry! rest in peace beautiful Nikki.”

A third person posted: “Sweet dreams, you were one of a kind.”

While a fourth social media user wrote: “Sleep well Nikki. I’m sad you never got the help you needed to overcome such a cruel illness, but hope you are now at peace x.”

The tragic news of Nikki’s passing with confirmed on a GoFundMe page set up last month to raise money for the star to be treated at a specialist facility for anorexia.

A statement confirming Nikki’s passing read: “It is with great sadness, we have to let you know that our dear friend Nikki passed away in the early hours of Friday 9th April.

“It breaks our hearts to know that someone who is so precious was taken from us at such a young age.

“Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.
