Olivia Newton-John is supplied cannabis from her husband’s drug lab to kill the agony of incurable cancer.
The terminally ill Grease actress said her partner John Easterling has set up a lab where he studies weed plants to find the best chemicals to ease her pain and anxiety.
Cambridge-born Olivia, 72 – stricken with stage four breast cancer that has spread to her bones – revealed: “I take cannabis tinctures my husband makes for me.
“He has a whole lab where he studies the plants to find the different cannabinoids.
“It has been very beneficial to me with sleep, with pain, with anxiety, with inflammation.”
Olivia’s health entrepreneur husband runs “herbal wellness” firm the Amazon Herb Company and is an expert in plant-based medicines.
They have a cannabis farm at their home in California, and Olivia said she takes the drug every morning as a drink, followed by drops throughout the day.

The actress, whose cancer was initially misdiagnosed as back pain disorder sciatica, fell in love with John while taking a mind-bending drug in the Amazon rainforest.
She said they were “just friends” until 2007 when they took the tropical trip and he persuaded her to try a dose of ayahuasca – a drug more powerful than LSD taken as tea and used in shamanic rituals.
Four-time Grammy winner Olivia, who now struggles to walk long distances, added: “I am so sensitive that after one quarter of a teaspoon I had an experience.
“That experience was part of our connection, part of my journey. But it wasn’t intentional.”
A year later the couple were married by a shaman on a mountain in the Andes, with Olivia gushing: “I feel so lucky to be with him. He has been a huge, wonderful influence in my life.”

Olivia has been diagnosed with cancer three times since 1992 and says it’s her “dream” for medical cannabis to be available to “everyone”.
Her reliance on the drug comes despite risks it can lead to the development of paranoia and conditions such as schizophrenia.
During her 19-year battle with the disease she’s undergone a radical mastectomy and breast reconstruction, before turning to herbs, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, massage and a macriobiotic diet to try and boost her immune system.
Her cancer returned aggressively in 2013 after a car crash while on the way to see her sister Rona who was dying of a brain tumour.
Four years later it was found at the base of her spine while filming The Very Excellent Mr Dundee in Australia with Paul Hogan.
Olivia has now reduced the amount of morphine she takes for pain and replaced it with the cannabis doses supplied by her husband.
The actress recently brushed off accusations by the cancel culture mob her hit musical Grease is “rapey, racist and homophobic” in the context of movements including #MeToo.
She said: “It’s a fun story and I’ve never taken it too seriously.”
