Paddy Doherty took to his Facebook page to share his heartache over not being able to attend his late sister’s funeral.
The 61-year-old My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star was seriously ill in hospital with “double pneumonia” and coronavirus last week, and he’s been updating fans about his recovery.
Now on the mend, Paddy thanked his fans for their prayers before sharing the sad news that he cannot be at his sister’s funeral.
He explained: “My lovely sister gets buried tomorrow. Please pray for her family, her sons, her lovely daughter and her beautiful husband.
Paddy then seemed to become emotional as he revealed he wasn’t able to attend the funeral.

He said: “And for my brothers and sisters.
“And myself, because I can’t be at my sisters funeral.
“It’s a bad thing, but it is what it is.”
In the online clip, the Celebrity Big Brother star mentioned the doctors who helped him, and branded them “angels of God”.
He said: “I want to say a very good morning to everybody, especially good morning to these doctors.

“Angels of God, that’s what they are. Managing to save everyone’s lives and their still putting their lives on the front line aren’t they [sic].
“Their great people honest to God. Don’t underestimate them they are the greatest people in the world God bless them.”
Paddy has been recovering in hospital after being seriously ill with “double pneumonia” and coronavirus.
He was placed on oxygen by doctors to help him fight the illnesses.
The news was confirmed in Facebook posts from Paddy’s son David and his wife Roseanne.
David wrote: “Can everybody please keep my father in prayer as I was just speaking to him and he has got double pneumonia also claw seen in the lungs and tested positive for Covid. He’s also on oxygen. Keep my father in prayer. [sic]”
Meanwhile, his wife Roseanne added: “Please will everything pray for my Paddy he has been taken into hospital.
“He is not very well. [sic]”
