Tyson Fury’s wife Paris Fury has confirmed the couple’s eldest daughter left school at the age of 11.
The mother-of-six previously revealed that she wanted her daughter Venezuela to leave education after primary school, despite the wishes of her 33-year-old boxer husband.
Paris, 32, said the request was made in line with the traditions of her traveller upbringing and due to the travelling demands of Tyson’s career, Venezuela did end up leaving full-time education.
However, she still receives tutoring to keep her up to date with tests.
The tween, now 12, is also taking piano lessons.
Paris told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine: “We finish school at primary age, which is the traditional traveller way.
“We’ve just brought the tradition into the 21st century.
“Venezuela wanted to leave school and all her [traveller] friends were leaving.
“Her tutor is gonna keep her up to date with all of her tests. She will also be having piano lessons.”
Explaining why Venezuela was pulled out of public schooling, Paris said that the family’s frequent trips to the US, where they also own a home, made higher education schooling incompatible with their lifestyle.
She added: “We move so much
“It wouldn’t work if they were in school full-time to then be off to America.”
Paris and Tyson are parents to five other children together, including Prince John James, Prince Adonis Amaziah, Valencia Amber, Prince Tyson Fury II and their baby daughter Athena.
The comments follow Paris previously admitting that she and Tyson had different opinions regarding their children’s higher education.
Last year, she said: “Tyson wants the boys to go into education but I don’t, it’s just not what we’ve ever done.
“I was brought up as a traveller and I want my kids to be brought up as travellers. They will probably leave school at 11 and they’ll be educated at home from then.
“The boys will take a wife and make their family and the girls will take a husband and make their family.
“Until they take a husband or wife they won’t be leaving the home and I wouldn’t want them to, but for definite [eldest daughter] Venezuela won’t be.”
