Peter Andre snubbed as kids including Princess and Junior refuse to listen to hit song

Peter Andre has revealed how his kids including Princess and Junior snub him by refusing to listen to his hit song Mysterious Girl.

In 1996, the pop singer became an overnight star in the UK after releasing his song which reached number two in the charts.

The song later shot to number one in 2004 after the 48-year-old re-released it following taking part in I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here!

On the ITV show, Peter met his future wife Katie Price whom he later had two children, Princess and Junior.

The singer is now married to Emily MacDonagh, 32, and they share two children together.

Peter revealed how he listens to music with his kids in the kitchen.

He said: “Occasionally they’ll play one of my songs, but not Mysterious Girl. The one they seem to love is called Perfect Night.

“But I’ll usually tell them to put Ed Sheeran back on.”

Last month, fans went crazy over a throwback snap Peter shared to his social media of him as a five-year-old.

Fans went wild over his resemblance to his oldest daughter Princess.

The singer penned to the snap: “Just a kid with a dream. always biting my lip. I was shy. Not as much anymore.”

His 1.7 million fans were quick to tell the Mysterious Girl singer how uncanny the resemblance is between himself and his 14-year-old daughter.

One wrote: “Gorgeous. Double of Princess,” as another said: “All I can see is Princess. So alike x.”

A third wrote: “Looks so much like Princess.”

“I never realised how much Princess looked like you. I always thought Junior was more like you,” another commented.

Peter’s son Junior has recently followed in his dad’s footsteps after being signed to Colombia Records and preparing to release an album.

Writing for new!, Peter said: “I’m making sure he’s co-written his songs as I think being a songwriter is important, and he’s going to start releasing music next year, so it’s an amazing and exciting time for him.

“I feel very lucky to be able to be there for my son and help in any way I can with his career.”
