Phillip Schofield has shared the adorable moment he was finally reunited with his mother Pat after a year, as she had been shielding due to the Covid pandemic.
This Morning host Phil shared the moment on Instagram, filming his mum Pat Schofield as she arrived at the train station.
Beforehand though, he shared a selfie from the car, with the caption: “Off to pick up my mum from the station! First time I’ve seen her in a year.”
Clearly showing his excitement, the 59-year-old added a heart emoji to the end of his words.
The next snap Phil shared with his 3.1million followers was a photo of his beloved mum, who could be seen pulling a small suitcase through the station as she wore a fun floral skirt and a longline grey jacket.

He wrote over the top: “Her Majesty has arrived.”
The final picture was one of the both of them in a tight cuddle, and even though both were wearing face coverings, their happiness was clear to see.
Phil wrote over the selfie: “Mum hug.”
The ITV daytime star is very close with his mum, and he previously spoke of her reaction when he told her he was gay.

He said: “I went down to see her in Cornwall. She said: ‘Oh ok, well, I don’t care.'”
The star came out as gay in February last year first in a statement on social media and then on This Morning.
Since then, during the coronavirus lockdown, Phil wrote his autobiography, titled Life’s What You Make It.
Earlier this week, he celebrated the release of the book in a paperback version.

Taking to Instagram he wrote: “It’s arrived! My book in paperback is out for the summer, available from Thursday June 24.”
More recently though, he revealed that he had saved his father’s after administering CPR.
He said on This Morning: “I brought my dad back doing that and we got 20 extra years with him because of that, so you just never know.
“If I hadn’t been in that night, then you know, that would have been it.”
Phil had been 22 when his dad had a heart attack, but the telly regular performed life-saving CPR on him.
His dad Brian died more than two decades later in 2008, at the age of 72.
The ITV show was airing a segment on CPR, fronted by Dr Ellie Cannon.
