Piers Morgan has never been shy when it comes to criticising Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and his latest barbed interview was no exception.
In a fresh wave of criticism, the broadcaster, 56, spoke out against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Monday evening.
Hannity got the ball rolling by calling Harry and Meghan “bonkers” over comments they made regarding the US First Amendment, goading Piers into a rant.
Piers then claimed the couple, who recently welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet, had “trashed” the Queen in the various televised interviews they have agreed to.
“Yeah, I think it’s completely ridiculous,” he began.
“These two want to have their royal cake and eat it. They’re very happy to trade off their royal titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, when it comes to negotiating hundreds of millions of dollars with companies like Spotify and Netflix.
“But at the same time they want the right to trash the Royal Family and the monarchy, and therefore the Queen who’s the head of the monarchy, on global television repeatedly now. They keep doing this.”
Piers then claimed Harry and Meghan’s attitude to the Royal Family was “sickening” to Brits, as he went on to defend the head of the monarchy.
He said: “I think it’s sickening to people over here in the UK. We’ve just seen the Queen with the American president, Joe Biden, and you can see what a magnificent lady she is.”
Describing the Queen as a “remarkable person who puts duty first,” Piers then accused the couple of being hypocrites.
He continued: “It seems to me that Meghan and Harry don’t even understand the concept of duty. It is rankly hypocritical and I think it sticks in people’s gullets over here.”
Speaking openly against Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their Royal Duties last year, Piers’ disregard for the couple reached a fever pitch in March of this year.

Following their groundbreaking interview with Oprah Winfrey, which originally aired on CBS, Piers appeared on Good Morning Britain and condemned the two-hour-long feature.
Meghan even issued a formal complaint to ITV about his coverage of the interview, in particular concerning his treatment of comments she made about her battle with mental health.
Piers quit the show the following day, resigning hours after he stormed off set when challenged live on-air by his colleague Alex Beresford, who took issue with his treatment of Meghan Markle.
