Piers Morgan has not shied away from sharing his controversial views over the developments relating to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since they decided to step down from their roles as senior members of the royal family last year.
The decision to move to California, America was a shock to most in the UK and the ongoing so-called feud between the couple and the rest of the royals is dominating the news.
Piers, 55, has also been seen regularly using his platform on Good Morning Britain to discuss his opinions about Harry and Meghan, but now hugely-popular British drag queen Baga Chipz has weighed in.
The entertainer was frustrated with the perceived amount of coverage Piers has given to Meghan rather than Prince Andrew who has also been at the centre of a controversy in the royal family.
Ranting on Twitter, Baga Chipz wrote: “Could you imagine if Pierce Morgan put as much energy into bashing Prince Andrew the same way he does Meghan Markle?
“Someone who is actually wanted for questioning by the US. Oh I forgot, you won’t. Because he’s white and male. The mans obsessed.”
Retweeting the post, Piers then fired back: “a) It’s ‘Piers’. b) Here are some of my Andrew columns you obviously missed [links to three columns on the Daily Mail].”
The pair’s back and forth continued as Baga Chipz then responded: “3 articles from the daily mail. How many have you written about Meghan? She turned you down and is not interested. GET OVER IT.”
The ITV daytime presenter is yet to reply to the performer’s latest claims but fans and followers flocked to the comments to give their own two cents, as one person asked: “3 whole articles? And how many have you written about Meghan and Harry?”
Another slammed: “Those three articles are a pittance compared to the bombardment of Meghan and Harry since they’ve been together.”

“If you think some columns towards Andrew compares the discussions, interview/questions leads (relevant to the guest or not) the hateful rants, the tweets, the replies, the continuous dismissals, biased blame towards Meghan..,” a third raged.
While a fourth speculated: “The fact that you had to point them out tells me all I need to know. That means you’ve certainly been less visibly doing so. Compare that to your many, many Meghan write ups.”
“Sorry Mr Morgan I’m a big fan, but you haven’t put in the hours on Andrew that you have with Meghan, the Royal family can have no complaints while he still refuses to answer the big questions. Our media has failed the victims,” a fifth added.
On the other hand, Piers’ fans offered that the only reason for his continued discussion of Meghan and Harry was due to their desire to remain in the spotlight, as one person considered: “Will say the coverage of Meg is a bit too often. However, leave them alone? They are putting themselves back in the window to be viewed. They can choose the narrative of media but they can’t tell others what to think about them. When they vanish into nobodies the interest will stop.”
While others were grateful for the columnist for pointing out a selection of his work that some of his fans had yet to see, as one fan said: “Thanks Piers missed these I will enjoy reading x,” and another simply praised: “Good on you Piers! Love your work!”
Piers recently said he doesn’t think Harry and Meghan should keep their titles, and urged the Queen to strip them during the review of their decision to step down as senior royals.
Harry’s military and official titles were announced that they would be redistributed to other members of the royal family, but the couple are still the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
