Piers Morgan was branded “really sleazy” by his co-star Susanna Reid on Monday’s Good Morning Britain when he brought up a recent exchange with the show’s guest Pamela Anderson.
The Baywatch star, 53, made headlines over the weekend when she took to Twitter to promote eating a meat-free diet, explaining vegans are better lovers.
Piers admitted, once he laid eyes on the Twitter statement, he’d offered to test out the theory, but never received a reply from Pammy.
Joined by the actress via video call, he said: “The jury’s out Pamela.
“I did offer on Twitter to test this theory Pamela, but I don’t know if you did respond to my intriguing…”
Susanna cut to the chase, saying: “Cause that was really sleazy.”

Pamela laughed the remark off, adding: “Typical Piers!”
“Best ignored, frankly,” Susanna replied, before Piers decided to change the subject completely and bring the conversation to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
In her original Tweet on January 16, Pamela said: “Vegans make better lovers.
“The cholesterol in meat, eggs and dairy causes hardening of the arteries (and not much else). It slows blood flow to all the body’s organs, not just the heart.

“You can improve your overall health and increase stamina in the bedroom by going vegan.”
At the time, Piers retweeted the post, and wrote: “Want to test that theory?”
Dr Hilary Jones also appeared on the show to discuss the science behind Pamela’s theory, as he debated the merits of eating vegan.
The resident ITV doc recommended that vegans ensure they eat plenty of vegetables and consume the necessary nutrients for a healthy lifestyle, rather than munching on chips all day long.

However, Dr Hilary did admit there was some truth to Pammy’s statement, explaining: “It’s stretching a point to a great degree.
“There’s no doubt that if you’ve got arterial sclerosis, that if your arteries have become hardened by too much bad cholesterol, then you’re more likely to suffer from heart disease and erectile dysfunction.
“Hence the worse lover I suppose.”
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
