Piers Morgan has branded Prince Harry a “needy spoiled brat teenager” in a brutal swipe at the Duke of Sussex.
In his new Mail Online column, Piers hit out at Meghan Markle for releasing a children’s book about father-child relationships despite having “disowned her own dad”.
Meghan’s new book The Bench focuses on father and child bonding, but Piers wasn’t letting that go in a hurry – and branded it the “World’s Most Ludicrously Inappropriate Book”.
It is based on a poem she wrote for Harry on Father’s Day.
But he wasn’t letting Harry out of the firing line either, as he wrote: “As for Harry, he trashed his father Prince Charles in the [Oprah] interview, moaning about how Daddy had stopped taking his calls or giving him cash, sounding like some needy spoiled brat teenager rather than a 36-year-old multi-millionaire doormat who ditched his family, country and duty because his chillingly controlling and ambitious wife wanted him to.
“And unforgivably, he did this as Charles was desperately worried about his father, Prince Philip, who was lying seriously ill in hospital and later died,” Piers continued.
“Lest we forget, Ms Markle has ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas,” he added in a cruel swipe at the Duchess.
This is far from the first time Piers has lashed out at Harry – in his explosive interview with US host Tucker Carlson, he dubbed the prince a “whiny brat”.
“He’s in his mid-30s crying his dad won’t fund him financially,” Piers said.
The controversial broadcaster called the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey a “90-minute whine-a-thon”.
Though he says he respects Harry’s military career – and enjoyed Meghan’s US legal drama Suits – Piers isn’t afraid to make his dislike for the couple known.
But it appears viewers want him reinstated as a presenter on Good Morning Britain – in a poll, 79 percent of fans said they wouldn’t be surprised if the ITV morning show was yanked off air after his legendary storm-off.

And 79% of voters said they had completely switched off now that Piers was no longer on their screens.
It has recently been announced that former political advisor Alastair Campbell will be taking up the mantle, and he looks forward to debating without “squabbles and shouting”.
Alastair told The Independent that he is “looking forward to interviewing politicians on all sides”.
