Piers Morgan snaps selfie outside Kensington Gardens and declares 'Team Palace'

Piers Morgan has declared himself to be truly on the side of the royals and against Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with his latest Twitter post.

The outspoken presenter tweeted a picture of himself outside of Kensington Palace captioning the pic with “#TeamPalace” and a fist emoji.

He previously claimed this week in his interview with Tucker Carlson that members of the royal family had reached out to thank him.

The 56-year-old said: “I’ve had some messages communicated to me on behalf on several members of the Royal Family.”

“I’m not going to go into who it was but… gratitude that somebody was standing up them.”

Some of his 7.9 million Twitter followers rushed to praise him in typical fashion.

One fan said: “You go Piers, I support you 100% from New Zealand. Glad someone has the ***** to stand up to the idiots of this world.”

Another penned: “Very good Piers, keep going and the truth will come out in the end.”

“Never give up, never surrender! Go get ‘em Piers,” wrote a third.

“Love your honesty! Thank you for defending the wonderful Queen,” a fourth added.

However, not all have always been by his side, after his rant on Good Morning Britain led to thousands of Ofcom complaints.

Piers has been vocal about his dislike for Meghan and Prince Harry and his preference for Royal Family.

He sensationally quit Good Morning Britain last month after refusing to apologise for his comments about disbelieving Meghan’s claims of racism and thoughts of suicide.

During her interview, Meghan said she had been told she could not seek help for her mental health because it “wouldn’t be good for the institution.”

Piers has since demanded that Meghan give up the names of the people she had gone to, insisting that if she were to have asked for help the Royal family would have provided it, and saying she was accusing the royals of being “unspeakably cruel”.
