Piers Morgan's son says he and his dad were called 'revolting' by a 'woke Karen'

Piers Morgan’s son Spencer Morgan took to his Twitter page to shed some light on the “social media bubble” surrounding his dad Piers Morgan.

Spencer, 27, said he and dad Piers, 55, were enjoyed a lockdown walk when they were approached by lots of Piers’ supporters – as well as a passer-by who wasn’t a fan of the controversial former Good Morning Britain host.

Spencer tweeted to his 60,500 followers: “Wow. Just went on one of them lame covid walks with @piersmorgan

“the level of public support on the street was actually mind blowing. The social media bubble is fake. Team Piers is real. And it’s huge.”

Spencer then claimed that one passer-by shouted at he and his dad and Piers’ supporters, branding them “revolting”.

He said: “Admittedly one dumb*** woke Karen did walk past and say ‘you revolting people’ as two couples were praising him haha.”

Piers has completely split the nation following his comments about Meghan Markle after her Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry.

Piers Morgan prompted huge backlash with his Meghan Markle comments

The controversial GMB host prompted a huge backlash when he said he didn’t believe Meghan when she said she was left feeling suicidal during her first pregnancy with baby Archie on Monday’s GMB.

This saw Piers clash with Good Morning Britain weather forecaster Alex Beresford on Tuesday’s episode of the breakfast show.

Piers got so irate that he stormed off GMB to cool down before finishing off the heated chat with Bristolian, Alex.

Piers later clarified that he didn’t mean to doubt she was suicidal but that he strongly doubts that the palace offered her no help.

Piers Morgan’s son shared the experience on Twitter

Piers was then asked to apologise by ITV after it was revealed that 41,000 complaints had been made to Ofcom – one of which was reportedly made by the Duchess of Sussex herself, Meghan Markle.

Piers refused and quit his position on the show amid the petition to have him sacked surpassing 80,000 signatures.

However, in the days that followed, a petition to have Piers reinstated as co-lead anchor on GMB also surpassed 80,000 signatures, with many saying Piers being made to apologise, went against the fundamental principle of freedom of speech.
