Spice Girls fans worldwide may be heartbroken to hear the possibility that Victoria Bekcham might never rejoin the iconic girl band.
The former singer has written a letter to her future self outlining her hopes.
In her letter published in Vogue magazine, she reminded future Posh Spice: “While singing and dancing was fun for you, it wasn’t your passion.”
The “life-changing” realisation that her work may not be as a pop star came after watching friend Elton John perform Tiny Dancer “as if it were the first time”.
She said his performance in Las Vegas “was like oxygen for him,” writes The Mirror.

The realisation set her on a different path away from the stage.
The band released popular songs When 2 become 1, Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life in the 1990s.
“It was time to step away from being a Spice Girl,” she wrote.
She also admitted it was “scary to close a chapter that defined” her for so many years.

If Victoria takes her own advice, it will be a huge blow to the rest of the girl band – Baby, Sporty, Scary and Ginger spice.
This week, Mel C said she felt Posh was “coming round” to the idea of rejoining her bandmates, after finding it “difficult” when snaps of the foursome from the 2019 reunion were “beamed all over the world” without the missing fifth piece.
