Real Housewives of New York Star Beth Frankel has launched a blistering attack on former Suits actress turned Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.
The outspoken US reality TV star took to Twitter to lash out at Prince Harry’s wife ahead of the royal couple’s sit down tell all on CBS with Oprah Winfrey.
Meghan is set to give her side of the past two years in the media spotlight as she struggled to adjust to her new life in the British Royal Family.
In preview clips, Meghan appears to insinuate she was at breaking point before she moved back to Los Angeles.

Hitting out, Beth posted a series of newspaper screenshots about Meghan to her 1.5 million followers before raging: “Cry me a river… the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras and seven figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w[ith] Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m[illion] for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals. [Sic]”

Not stopping there, she later added: “I [100%] give Harry a break.
“This isn’t the way to generate less press and cannot be filed under the guise of wanting privacy to prevent a repeat of previous events.”
Giving her take on the push and pulls of fame, Beth later continued: “I chose reality tv, to work towards making $, to be scrutinized & criticized.
“I took the trappings and the beatings along with it.

“It’s a rose w[ith] petals & thorns. People beg to enter the often toxic institution I signed up for. That WAS the life I chose. You can’t play stupid and smart.”
Meghan and Harry’s exposé has divided the globe – with some people arguing they have every right to sit down and tell all.
However, critics claim the move is at odds with their desire to live a more private life.
The two hour special will air in while Harry’s 99-year-old grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, 99, recovers from heart surgery in London.

Reports claim that The Queen, 94, has not been given an advanced copy of the programme.
It is said Her Majesty will not stay up to watch the show but will recieve a report at breakfast from her team.
In dramatic clips teased by CBS, Meghan tells Oprah she struggled to cope with the restraints of royal life.
Not stopping there, she goes on to accuse “The Firm” of “perpetuating falsehoods” about her and Harry.
The Firm is thought to have been phrased by The Duke of Edinburgh ahead of his marriage to the then Princess Elizabeth in 1947.

He is reported to have said at the time that the big day was him “marrying into The Firm”.
The Firm refers to the business side of the monarchy headed up by the monarch.
Meghan said: “I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.
“And if that comes with risk of losing things, I mean, I’ve…there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”
The sit down chat comes 12 months after Harry and Meghan stepped back from life as working royals and moved to America.
