In a series of Instagram posts, Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King has confirmed that she has ended her marriage with President Joe Biden’s nephew Cuffe Biden Owen’s after two months of marriage.
In a lengthy Instagram story, Meghan announced the news that comes two months after the couple married in a backyard ceremony attended by the President and First Lady.
The posts read: “I’ve been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage.
“I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows – and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.
“I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.”
She continued: “At this time I ask for your grace and gentle kindness as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family.”

She told her one million Instagram followers that she had been asked by ‘many outlets and individuals to comment’ after sharing a host of Christmas photos without Cuffe by her side amid reports their relationship was over.
Two weeks ago, there were signs of trouble as Meghan asked her followers to share advice on how to help keep a marriage alive.
Then last week, American news outlet Page Six broke the shocking news that the 37-year-old RHOC star suddenly split from President Joe Biden’s nephew after only two months of marriage.

Although it’s unsure the exact date the couple began dating, they decided to go ‘official’ on Instagram in September just weeks before tying the knot on October 11.
When introducing fans to her partner, Meghan had captioned the post: “Trying my best to avoid any cheesy introductions like ‘my main squeeze’… so just meet my man.”
The RHOC alum has also removed Cuffe’s surname, Owens, from her social media accounts.
Cuffe Biden Owens is the son of Joe Biden’s sister, Valerie Owens, who has played the main role in her brother’s political career, including as adviser to his triumphant 2020 presidential run.
