Reality TV stars raking in thousands of pounds a day for posing in Dubai sun

Social media influencers are earning up to £7,000 per snap, despite one moaning about working in Dubai.

Love Island star Laura Anderson this week whinged that people do not know how tough life is in the sun-kissed city.

The 31-year-old said: “This whole thing about everyone hating influencers, I’m just like f***, this is what I do for a job.

“I thought it would be a good idea to give an insight so people don’t hate it as much and realise how hard it is.”

Images on Instagram show Laura posing on a sunbed, in a limo and at a posh restaurant. Every snap earns her an estimated £3,113.

Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry rakes in £6,508 per social post, according to figures from digital marketing agency Pilot Fish Media.

Co-star Sophie Kasaei is on £4,395, and Love Islander Anton Danyluk banks £2,244 per brand post.

Laura is among TV stars criticised for using a loophole to escape the lockdown.

Rules say you can leave the UK for “essential work trips”.

However, fellow Islander Olivia Attwood, who has stayed at home, said: “People are losing family members daily, they can’t pay rent, and their businesses they’ve worked their b******s off for are crumbling, and you’re on the beach telling us ‘you don’t know how hard it is’.”

The video comes days after Olivia began lashing out at stars for taking lavish trips and saying they’re “work” on their social media.

She previously said to her followers: “It’s the constant ‘I’m working, not on holiday’ shout. There is a difference from being able to earn money wherever you are to being there for work.

“Whenever I go on holiday I’ll post content which I can monetise. I’m still on holiday. I don’t go ‘Oh me and Brad have had the most amazing week in Portugal but don’t worry I was flat out working’. You just sound so stupid.”

Olivia later added: “And on top of that you’ve got the ones going ‘Oh we’re all in this together, this is our struggle’. No it’s not. You’re on holiday and to be fair I don’t f**king blame you.”

Anton’s agent said the star is working on a business venture in Dubai.

None of the others we approached commented.
