Rebekah Vardy has spoken out on claims her hubby Jamie looked “miserable” during his appearance on Dancing On Ice last weekend.
Sharing a video of herself and her skate partner Andy Buchanan, Rebekah promised viewers she would do “more smiling” in the productions to come.
She said: “Thank you to everyone who voted for @andybuchanan2 and I tonight. We are so grateful & so happy. I’m going to work hard on all of the judges’ critiques for our week 3 performance.”
Beaming at the camera, Rebekah added: “I’ll promise to do more performing next time and more smiling!”
Writing below, one fan suggested her husband Jamie looked a little unhappy during his brief appearance on the show, writing: “You done very well but your hubby needs to turn that frown upside down!”

Rebekah was quick to hit back, insisting both she and her husband had a tendency to unintentionally pull glum expressions.
She said: “He was happy!
“He’s just like me and seems to look miserable if he isn’t beaming. I felt like he was a miracle worker getting all 5 kids to sit nicely on the sofa together.”
During last Sunday evening’s debut, Jamie appeared on the show via video call, wishing his wife good luck from their family home.

Gathered with their five children on the sofa, the football ace held up a sign, showing support for Rebekah’s DOI venture.
However, watching from home, a number of viewers felt Jamie looked a little downcast on the screen, as they wondered about his expression.
At the time, one fan wrote: “Jamie Vardy couldn’t have shown more support and enthusiasm if he tried.”
“Did Jamie Vardy know they were going to him… zero joy there!” one person commented.

Another noted: “Jamie Vardy going OTT with the support and enthusiasm there.”
Smiles aside, Rebekah managed to wow the judges with her performance, totting up the highest score of the night with professional Andy.
Unfortunately, Emmerdale’s Joe Warren Plant and rapper Lady Leshurr are at risk in the competition, landing in the bottom two at the end of the night.
Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
