Robbie Williams branded unrecognisable as he sends fans wild with transformation

Singer Robbie Williams sent Soccer Aid fans into a frenzy as he unveiled a new look to the cameras during the charity event.

Robbie, 47, wowed the crowd as he sported a mohawk style and a tan during Saturday night’s festivities.

Viewers couldn’t believe how different he looked as he spoke to the camera and chatted with David Beckham as they rushed to social media to share their shock.

One posted: “Oh my@robbiewilliams look fiiiiiiiine on @socceraid.”

Another added: “I didn’t recognise Robbie Williams.”

A third said: “Is it just me or does Robbie Williams look like a Robbie Williams lookalike? Or have I just not seen him for ages?”

Robbie first went for the new hairstyle earlier this summer but this is the first time he has sported it on camera.

The new look was unveiled by his wife Ayda Field this summer, who shared a pictured on Instagram to show his fans.

She captioned the snap: “@robbiewilliams In a hair life crises …#newhaircut.”

Robbie’s makeover has proved to be a hit with everyone, as his son Charlie, 6, also requested the same style as his dad, who happily obliged.

Fans were also thrilled to see Robbie with David Beckham, who is also known for being a fan of a mohawk after his famous look back in the noughties for the England vs World XI FC game.

David himself also sported a new look during the charity match, leaving viewers gobsmacked as he spoke to presenter Dermot O’Leary at the side of the pitch.

He was seen with bleached blonde hair, leaving fans divided as they shared their opinion on social media, with one writing: “If you’re a man in your 40s bleaching your hair is a complete no. Unless you David Beckham of course.”

But another said: “David Beckham is such a legend loving the new hair colour too.”

Robbie posted before the match: “Can’t wait for Soccer Aid for UNICEF! Over the years #SoccerAid has raised over £47million to help @unicef_uk reach children in danger.

“As we come together for a game of football – let’s also come together for children around the world. Donations this year will be doubled up to £6.3 million thanks to @CIFFchild.”
