Rylan Clark showcased his “swollen” face the day after he had his famous pearly whites removed.
The Strictly’s It Takes Two presenter took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share his enlarged face after having his sparkling white veneers replaced.
As he continued to recover from the cosmetic procedure, the 33-year-old posted a short clip while he rubbed his puffy cheeks to his 1.5 million followers online.
Although he kept his mouth closed so soon after the medical appointment, the Big Brother star promised to show off his new set of teeth after the swelling around his new set of gnashers calmed down.
The groggy TV personality was seen dressed only on a black fluffy dressing gown on Wednesday morning as he massaged his tender gums online with the caption: “Swollen” written over the top of the video.
After nearly a decade, Rylan confirmed he was saying goodbye to his signature smile on Monday but has yet to reveal what his new set will look like.
He tweeted: “After 8 years. It hurts, so much, but sometimes you just have to let go.
“I’ve taken the decision to say goodbye … to my teeth. New smile imminent,” he added with a cry laughing emoji.
And it’s fair to say fans were devastated the X Factor star was losing his priceless TV chompers as fans flooded the brunette hunks post with their devastated reactions online.
This Morning star Alison Hammond summed up most of his fans reactions to the news, as she replied with a horrified: “Noooooooooo,” with a cry laughing emoji.
Former EastEnders actor Danny Hatchard also weighed in as he joked: “Thank f**k, I’ll take my shades off next time I see ya x.”
Another fan reassured him: “Nice one babe – you’ll be handsome whatever gnashers you have.”
The TV host was later seen smiling away as he headed over to BBC’s Elstree studios to film the latest instalment of the Strictly spin-off show.
Speaking of how the transformation affected him at the start of his TV career, Rylan told Notebook in 2017: “I got my veneers finished the day before I started hosting Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, my first presenting job.
“My mouth was swollen from the anaesthetic, they were brilliant-white, brand new.
“That was the first night everyone saw them, and all people did was take the p**s out of my teeth.
“So no one realised I was a s**t presenter, and by the time they stopped talking about my teeth a few months later, I’d got better at the job.”
