Salma Hayek has enraged fans as she posted a sizzling swimsuit snap to celebrate Penelope Cruz’s birthday.
Penelope turned 47 last week, prompting the Mexican-American actress to post a side-by-side snap contrasting the two stunners, both in eye-popping white swimwear.
Salma sizzled as she paraded her toned tummy in the sleek two-piece, with her assets barely contained by a busty white crop top.
And with a white sarong tied around her waist, the 54-year-old bared an expanse of bronzed thigh as the outfit sloped to a cheeky V.
She paired the chic set with an elegant necklace and had her short brunette bob slicked back with water as though she’d just escaped from the ocean.

Salma opted for a natural make-up look, paired with a pale pink lipstick and sleek eyeliner.
Meanwhile, Penelope looked fantastic in a ruffled white one-piece as she leaned casually against a wall, with her dark hair styled effortlessly into a side plait.
Salma captioned the snap: “Women in white, still celebrating the magnificent Penelope Cruz who had her birthday yesterday!”
The Frida actress then translated the same message into Spanish.

But she probably wasn’t expecting such a strong reaction, as fans were left baffled by the move, as they wondered why Salma would celebrate Penelope’s birthday by posting… a picture of herself.
They took to the comments section and engaged in some relentless mocking of the Hollywood star.
“Well @salmahayek you should [only] post her pic it’s her bday not yours,” one wrote with a winking emoji.
Another laughed: “How to put a photo of – hot herself – to celebrate a friend!”
While someone else commented: “Couldn’t you just let Penelope have her shine?”

A fourth follower penned: “Shouldn’t you post a pic of JUST her?”
“Both pretty but why not only a photo of the birthday girl?” someone else wondered.
But it wasn’t all bad – some followers were just blown away as they were treated to double the sex appeal in one side by side snap.
“Taurus and Virgo friendship!” one wrote, accompanied by a row of love heart emojis.
Another added: “Two beauties on one picture, incredible.”
