Scarlett Moffatt got camel pubes stuck in her mouth while filming I'm A Celeb

Scarlett Moffatt had camel pubes stuck in her mouth for five days during her I’m A Celebrity stint.

The former Queen of the Jungle chowed down on camel willy during an eating challenge on the ITV show.

But she could not get the animal’s curlies out of her gob because her sustainably made toothbrush was not up to the job.

She said: “I ate camel penis, which was bad because it had loads of little pubey hairs, and the toothbrush they gave us was this eco-friendly toothbrush.

“I had camel pube hairs in my teeth for about five days.”

Scarlett added: “I also ate a fermented egg and I can’t look at poached eggs in the same way now.”

The 30-year-old’s 2016 appearance in the Jungle helped launch her presenting career.

Despite her gruelling eating challenges in Australia, the former Gogglebox telly watcher says she would be up for another stint.

When asked if she would go back, she replied: “I don’t know… but for s**ts and giggles I’d do it.”

But she advised any “a****e” celebrities or those who get angry when hungry to steer clear of the show – because they will be “found out” by the other contestants.

Speaking on the Good Finds podcast, hosted by comic Rachel Parris, 37, Scarlett said: “My advice to anyone who is an a**e who gets offered I’m A Celebrity is don’t do it. You will get found out.

“You can’t pretend for that amount of time that you’re a nice person if you’re not.

“If you get hangry as well – give it a miss.”

During her stint down under, Scarlet also revealed to campmates that she’d paid her parents’ mortgage off after becoming so popular on the Channel 4 telly reviewing programme.

Chatting to Wayne Bridge and The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, she said: “My aim is to be able to buy me mam and dad a caravan.

“Cause they’ve always wanted one, but they are like £20,000, and I really want to buy them one.

“And that’s the dream, everyone wants to be able to look after their mama and dad, like they did when they were younger.

“I paid their mortgage off their house for them.”
