Sexiest Strictly Halloween looks ever – no knickers, micro-shorts and plunging dresses

BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing returns with its spectacular Halloween special this week, after being postponed last year, which in the past has brought viewers some ghoulish and gorgeous looks.

From homages to classic films and sci-fi television programmes, to nods to comic book characters and classic Halloween songs, the week is filled with spectacular costumes and routines from a whole host of celebrities, in the hope of impressing the judges.

We look at some of the sexiest Strictly Come Dancing Halloween looks in recent years – from thigh high splits, to mini dresses, plunging necklines and figure hugging gowns.

Stacey Dooley – Doctor Who

In 2019, Stacey Dooley gave us a sexy twist on the sci-fi classic Doctor Who, wearing an interpretation of the thirteenth doctor’s outfit.

With Thirteen’s iconic multi-coloured top and braces, which was given a sheer finish, Stacey matched the outfit with a long blue satin skirt instead of collate trousers, adding a thigh high split that showed off her toned pins.

Dancing to the Doctor Who theme tune, she and partner Kevin Clifton, who was dressed as one of the doctor’s enemies – a Cyberman – the duo looked totally unrecognisable and not only impressed viewers, but the judges too.

Michelle Visage – Morticia Addams

Michelle Visage is one of the queens of fashion, and her Strictly Come Dancing Halloween look in 2019 was no different.

She captured the glamour of Morticia Addams perfectly, in a stunning figure hugging black dress and flowing long black hair, with matching high heeled shoes and bright red lipstick, paired with smoky eye make up.

Together, her and dancing partner Giovanni Pierce, dressed as Gomez Addams, paid homage to one of Halloween’s spookiest families in their incredible outfits.

Louise Redknapp – Harley Quinn

Since the release of film The Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie’s iconic Harley Quinn outfit has become a Halloween costume staple for fans across the world.

Louise Redknapp joined in the fun in 2016, by dressing as Harley Quinn alongside partner Kevin Clifton, who was dressed as the Joker.

She looked incredible as she stepped out in her short shorts that were adorned with black tassels, high heels and sheer tights, completed with the iconic Harley Quinn bunches and red and blue make-up.

Not only did the duo look incredible, they scored their highest marks yet on the series with their Halloween week dance.

Nancy Dell’olio – Silver spider dress

Nancy Dell’olio mixed spooky with glamour for her Strictly Halloween look in 2011, as she took to the floor in a stunning spider print dress for her Rumba with Anton Du Beke.

The dress revealed part of her torso, and included an asymmetric hem that showed off her legs, starting at her right hip and crossing downwards towards her left leg for a sexy look.

Nancy appeared to ditch her underwear in the seriously daring skirt, with her entire right side being exposed to the camera apart from a spiders web over the cut-out design.

Sadly though while her and Anton were dressed to impress, their Rumba did not, only scoring a total of 14 points from the judges.

Emma Weymouth – Cluedo

Cluedo is one of the world’s classic board games and even spawned a film, Clue, starring Tim Curry.

Viscountess Emma Weymouth paid homage to one of its characters in a gorgeous 1920s inspired mini flapper dress, which was adorned with red tassels and matched with gold shoes and bright red lipstick.

Together with Aljaž Skorjanec, the two looked stunning as they paid tribute to the beloved mystery game.

Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley combined sexy with spooky for her Halloween look, wearing a red and white dress with a sweetheart neckline and corset, matched with a tasseled skirt.

Catherine looked radiant as she took to the dance floor in high heels and flowing brunette hair.

Alongside dancing partner Johannes Radebe, the two added a bit of horror to their outfits with zombie inspired make-up.
