No-nonsense TV star Sharon Osbourne says that her fluctuating waistline has never been anyone’s business but her own, insisting: “What is it to you – the size of my a***?”
Outspoken Sharon, 68, says that when she was 16-and-a-half stone, while people were badmouthing her in private, she was happy with her size.
And the former X Factor judge insisted husband Ozzy did not care about her weight or her being heavier than him as her size fluctuated over the years.
Sharon said: “People whisper behind your backs.
“It made me angry. It was like ‘I will do whatever I want to’ – and if I do not want to deal with it, then I won’t?

“What is it to you – the size of my a***?
“What is going to change your life? What is it to you… I don’t sleep with you?”
Now-slim Sharon, speaking on US TV, said that her heavier days did not make Ozzy love her less even though at times “[she] was heavier than him”.
The mum-of-three said starting a family in the early 80s altered her size.

“When I married my husband I was skinny,” she said.
“After three children – one each year – because they were back-to-back, we called it Irish twins, I blew up.
“And I was 230lbs and I was quite happy feeding my kids saying ‘this is great’.
“But people were saying ‘have you seen the size of her now?’; ‘oh what does she look like?’
“And it was like, ‘yeah I have got a mirror.’ I will do something about it when I want to do something about it.
“But it didn’t alter my marriage to my Ozzy. When I did lose the weight, the babies kept saying to me ‘I do not like it mum’.
“And the feeling was ‘thank you.’”
Sharon has in the past described how she felt her curves were a “shield”, making her less threatening to men and women in the music industry.
