Jedward have launched a scathing attack against The X factor and music mogul Simon Cowell.
John and Edward Grimes, 29, appeared for the ITV singing show back in 2009 and came in sixth place.
The twin brothers took to their joint Twitter account on Bank Holiday Monday to hit out at the television series which made them famous 12 years ago.
The first message posted the social media account read: “The biggest regret in life was not telling the judges on X Factor to f**k off.”
They continued in a separate post: “Every contestant on the X Factor was a slave to the show and got paid zero while they made millions.”
The singers were mentored by fellow Louis Walsh during their time in the competition.
Jedward went on to air some thoughts on X factor boss Simon, 61, who wasn’t a fan of their act at the time.
Another message read: “Simon Cowell thinks he’s the leader of the music industry when in reality he’s nothing but a bad facelift” alongside a red heart emoji.
The multi-millionaire has previously admitted to having surgery before his 60th birthday.
Father-of-one Simon has been open about his love for Botox and how he underwent a “21st century facelift” which he said “hurt like hell”.
The outspoken posts shared on Jedward’s page divided their 648,500 followers.
One fan penned: “Come on guys, you’re better than these remarks.”
Another added: “But with all due respect, where would you be without the show, love it or hate it, it’s a huge platform.”
A third person wrote: “Shots fired at Simon Cowell.”
While a fourth follower said: “This is turning into a very good night on Twitter.”
Jedward’s Twitter outburst comes just days after their shaved off their trademark quiffs for a very special reason.
The pop twins helped raise over £2.5 million for the Irish Cancer Society in memory of their mum Susanna who died with cancer in 2019.
Speaking on the Late Late show just before his hair was cut, John said: “We’ve had this hair for over 10 years. It’s part of our identity.
“I don’t think we’d be here today if we didn’t have the hair, but this is the first time we’re going to have our hair like this since the beginning of Jedward.”

The duo looked almost unrecognisable as they debuted their new look and even John didn’t recognise himself after they had shaved each other.
He screeched: “Jaysus! Who am I? Who is this person?”
The brothers have said they remain profoundly affected by the death of their mum.
Edward said: “We were there when she passed and we are thankful we were able to hold her hand.”
John added: “We always keep her spirit alive, like having pictures of her around and telling stories.”
