Simon Cowell’s new show Walk The Line has been hit by tech blunders.
During filming for the final, there was chaos when a few of the voting pads given to the studio audience failed to work.
It threw the show into crisis just moments before its big winner was due to be announced.
An insider at entertainment website TVZone said: “Minutes into the voting period, it was clear that the studio audience were having problems casting their votes on the keypads.
“As more and more people complained about the problems to the production staff, the independent adjudicator was eventually called in to talk to the audience.”
Producers were forced to extend the voting period while the technical faults were resolved.
The incident is likely to be edited out before the final airs later this month.
It is the latest blow for the big-budget game show hosted by Maya Jama.
Boss Simon and pop star Mabel both pulled out from appearing on its panel just weeks before filming started.
An insider told Daily Star Sunday: “Everything was in place for Mabel to do the show and this was going to be her first big telly project.
“But she’s now pulled out at the 11th hour. The show’s producers are stunned. They’re really disappointed to lose her.”
And ITV bosses chose not to give it a plum slot on Saturday nights.
It has been revealed that the channel now plans to air only a handful of episodes across a week.
The new series sees competitors battle it out on stage trying to sing their way to the top of the leaderboard and win a massive cash prize.
Simon Cowell has been replaced by Take That singer Gary Barlow after announcing he wants to spend more time with his family after suffering a horror crash.
The series starts on Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
