Stacey Solomon forgets to pick kids up from school after end of home-schooling

Stacey Solomon hilariously forgot to pick up her kids from school today, until the school called and asked her to go get them.

After the several long weeks of homeschooling, Stacey forgot that schools were reopened yesterday.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram while in the school car park to reveal the blunder to her followers.

She said: “Would someone there please tell me you also forgot your kids.”

The Loose Women panellist joked that she had been busy in the garden and thought the kids were busy homeschooling.

“I was just having it up in the garden with Rex thinking I wonder when the boys will finish their homeschooling and then the school rang and I was like ‘oh sugar what have I done here’”, she said.

Stacey said she was busy in the garden and thought the boys were upstairs still homeschooling

Stacey is mum to three boys, Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight and Rex, two.

She later shared a pic of her Zachary smiling with the caption: “Thank goodness he’s smiling.

“I use all my energy on hanging my crisps up and completely forgot about my kids.”

Stacey added: “At least I didn’t forget to bring them in, one out of two’s not bad.

“What is wrong with my brain?”

Earlier this week schools reopened after they were shut in the second lockdown.

Children were able to return to their classrooms for the first time in two months.

Stacey penned an emotional tribute alongside a picture of her hugging her son tightly for other parents.

“I know it’s phone in a drawer day but I just had to come on here to say good luck to everyone sending their babies back to school today,” she wrote.

“I know it’s a mixture of relief and worry, happiness and sadness all at once. But you’ve been incredible and done such an amazing job.

She also praised teachers for working “tirelessly” to keep kids learning.

She wrote: “Good luck to everyone in education who have worked tirelessly and so hard to keep our children safe and learning throughout this time.

“We love and appreciate you so much. Good luck boys and to all the children going back today. We love you.”
