Stacey Solomon has carved out a career as a Solomon, rising to fame on The X Factor before becoming a household name on the likes of Loose Women and I’m A Celeb.
However, as her wedding to Joe Swash approaches, the 31-year-old has been debating changing her surname to match her husband.
The decision is a hard one for Stacey, whose two sons Zachary, 12, and eight-year-old Leighton, who are from previous relationships, share the surname Solomon.
Chatting with Zoe Ball on Radio 2, the ITV star confessed she has been weighing up the pros and cons of becoming “Mrs Swash” in the months to come.
She said: “It is a really funny one, obviously Joe would love me to have his second name, nothing wrong with his second name but because of kids I want to have the same surname as the kids.”

“Maybe I will double-barrel it,” Stacey added, coming up with a solution.
Stacey, whose new book Tap to Tidy is released this month, also admitted she was “heartbroken” when her sister Gemma changed her surname after marriage.
She said: “When my sister got married I felt a bit heartbroken ‘like you aren’t my full sister anymore’.”
Joe got on bended knee on Christmas Eve last year, bringing Stacey to a woodland near their Essex home, where he’d laid out a bed of white flowers.

With their sons by their side, Joe asked Stacey for her hand in marriage, presenting her with a ring he had designed himself.
Recalling the romantic engagement, Stacey previously admitted she mistook the floral arrangement for a funeral display in an awkward gaffe.
Describing her initial reaction to the white roses on Loose Women, she said: “And I was like, ‘oh my god, I think someone’s passed away in our wood’.
“He was like ‘oh no! Shall we go and have a look’
“And I was like ‘No you can’t do that, that’s awful’.”
However, once they were beside the display of roses, Joe popped the question, leaving his bride-to-be in tears.
The sweethearts are set to say “I do” at the end of July, with their sons – Zachary, Leighton, Rex, one, and Joe’s son Harry, 13, acting as page boys during the ceremony.
