Judge and dancer Anton Du Beke broke down in tears during the grand finale of Strictly Come Dancing 2021, when one of the final couples performed an incredibly emotional dance for a second time.
Dancing their final three dances of the season, the two final couples left in the competition have the chance to lift the coveted glitter ball trophy.
For each of the final couples’ second dance, they could choose their favourite dance from the entire series of the show.
EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis and her partner Giovanni Pernice performed their emotional silent dance for the second time during the competition, which led to judges and viewers getting emotional once more.
After dubbing the pair’s Couple’s Choice dance as “just perfect” Anton Du Beke broke down in tears while full of emotion after the pair performed.
Lost for words, the judge became emotional while fans at home and in the audience joined him.
For a second time they performed the routine from last month where, midway through the music stopped but they carried on dancing to give viewers an insight into what Rose experiences as a deaf person competing on the show.
Moved by the emotional dance while in the comfort of their homes, fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “Rose just brought me to tears again! That dance is so powerful! I have no other words.”
Another person said: “Oh gosh, I’m an emotional wreck watching Rose & Giovanni tonight and they haven’t even won yet.”
A third wrote: “Rose and Giovanni changed the world with that stunning routine the first time around. They just changed it again with it tonight.”
While a fourth said: “Goosebumps all over again – @RoseAylingEllis you’re an incredible, inspirational young lady and an amazing dancer to boot.”
This came as AJ Odudu made a surprise return with her pro dance partner after being forced to withdraw from the BBC One dance competition when she sustained a painful foot injury that left her unable to dance.
