Motsi Mabuse has caused a stir with fans who have become convinced that Strictly is “fixed”.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge rubbed some fans the wrong way as she voted Judi Love off the BBC One dancing show.
Loose Women star Judi found herself in the bottom two on Sunday evening (October 31), and she became the fifth celebrity to leave the show after losing out against Adam Peaty in the dance off.
Judi had been partnered up with professional dancer Graziano Di Prima, but it was heart-break for the presenter during the Halloween special.
After Judi and Adam battled it out in the ballroom in a desperate bid to stay on the show, their fates were left in the hands of the judges.
Craig Revel Horwood was up first, and he voted for Olympic swimmer Adam and his professional dance partner Katya Jones.
However, when it was Motsi’s turn to reveal who she was keeping in the competition, she left BBC viewers scratching their heads as she voted to save Adam and Katya.
She said: “Well I have to say that dance off was really great, it was great to watch both couples dancing on the dance floor.”
She then added: “The decision was made for me, so I have to say that the couple I will be saving is Adam and Katya.”
Some eagle-eyed fans reckoned Motsi had just admitted that the decision to kick off Judi had already been made for her.
Many wondered if Motsi had leaked a Strictly conspiracy, and rushed to Twitter to comment on the “fishy” moment.
One fan wrote: “Did Motsi just say ‘the decision has been made for me’? Little bit fishy if you ask me.”
A second fan commented: “‘The decision was made for me…’ By whom? What did @MOTSI_MABUSE mean by that?!”
A third asked: “What did Motsi mean? ‘The decision was made for me.'”
A fourth said: “Oof, Motsi’s phrasing there – ‘the decision was made for me’ – isn’t gonna help the conspiracies that think the whole thing is fixed.”
A fifth added: “What did Motsi mean when she said ‘the decision has been made for me’?”
Motsi’s fellow judge Shirley Ballas added that she would have made the same decision, which was to keep Adam in the show.
It comes after Judi had to miss out on last week’s live show after she tested positive for Covid, meaning she had to self-isolate.
