Naked Attraction’s Anna Richardson and Bake Off’s Sue Perkins are said to have reached a agreement over where their eight-year-old pet dog will live after calling time on their relationship.
The pair are reported to have agreed to share custody of their pet after the going their separate ways earlier this year amid claims they didn’t see eye to eye over the possibility of having children.
Opening up about the split, a source said: “We know Anna was really keen to be a mother, but Sue just didn’t feel it was the right time for her.
“She loves travelling and working on various projects and she appreciates that lifestyle and the responsibility of being a parent doesn’t marry well.”
The pair have apparently been living apart since autumn, with Anna having moved out of their £2 million home to be closer to her mother.
They will still see each other regularly but only when they exchange custody of the dog they adopted together in 2017, Tia, an eight year old Staffie.
The insider added to MailOnline: “They haven’t spent much together in recent months, they’ve been living separate lives with Anna staying in Staffordshire and Sue remaining in London.
“‘It’s really sad they’ve split, but it’s been on the cards for a while – Anna was really keen to be a mother, but Sue just didn’t feel it was the right time for her.”
It won’t come as a surprise to fans that Anna has been wanting a child as she was vocal about it back in 2015.
Anne had learned she was infertile with filming for The Sex Education show in 2008 for Channel 4.
She said: “I think because I’m 45 now I’m thinking long and hard about fostering and adopting.
“It would be nice to create a little unit.”
Despite their breakup, it seems the pair are trying hard to remain friends after the amicable split.
Close friends are hoping that they may reunite in the future, with a telling The Sun: “It’s really sad. Both Anna and Sue are devastated.
“We’re all hoping they can patch things up and sort out their differences but for now it appears to be all over.”
