Susanna Reid, who has hosted Good Morning Britain a few mornings a week since 2014, caused a stir with a wet selfie on her Instagram.
Reflecting on the recent floods Britain has unfortunately been experiencing, her smiling image provided a brief respite from the scary flash floods.
Beaming at the camera, Susanna showed her fans that she wasn’t going to let the miserable weather get to her as she prepared to take a break from GMB over the summer.
This week, the TV star captioned the post on Instagram: “RAINY! Last couple of days @gmb tomorrow & Tuesday before the summer break but… where did the summer go?!”
Host of the daytime ITV show, Susanna’s 573k Instagram followers loved the candid shot as it racked up over 26,000 likes.
Fellow TV personality, Carol Vorderman commented three love heart emojis.
Fans adoration also poured in as one wrote: “Beautiful lady,”
A second added: “So damn beautiful, while a third chipped in: “God damn.”
A fourth said: “Adorable.”
“Stunning,” another agreed while another said: “Gorgeous.”
Another commented: “Beautiful, gorgeous, adorable woman have a good week ahead take care and stay safe.”
Susanna hosted alongside ITV Tipping Point presenter Ben Shephard on her return on Monday morning.
She usually hosts the show with anybody from Adil Ray to Richard Madeley following Piers Morgan’s abrupt exit from the morning news show.
Susanna’s selfie came with a message as she issued a warning to every British holidaymaker ahead of the summer season.
“Even if you think you have a trip booked, you need to check that it’s even going ahead,” She told GMB viewers.
Susanna encouraged viewers to get double vaccinated to ensure they can travel.
She said: “double vaccination is a really important route to normality.”
Experts had appeared on GMB to say that holiday makers need to make sure their contact details are up to date in case flights or terminals change, which prompted her comment.
The TV journalist also grilled Children’s Minister Vicky Ford about how University students could potentially face compulsory vaccination.
Susanna questioned if there were other ways to allow students to return to University campuses.
“Forcing them to get the jab is not the way to encourage them,” she said.
