The Chase fans call out Bradley's 'question asking' after controversial show end

Bradley Walsh was not in the good books with The Chase fans who had tuned in for Tuesday’s show.

Twitter was ablaze with feedback following the show, with many believing the host had unfairly “raced through” Jenny Ryan’s questions during the final round.

Viewers had been on the edge of their seats all evening after witnessing one of the strongest teams the ITV programme had ever seen.

Three of the four contestants made it back home with Mwamakan – a progression monitor at a school – wanted to take a gamble when the stakes were high.

She told Brad: “You’re only here once, I’ll go for the £50,000.”

Mwamakan had a blinding but intense game and managed to join her team mates with a massive cash injection.

She joined Alicia and Joe with the trio going head-to-head against the Jenny aka The Vixen in the final round.

Alicia stole the show, answering a whopping 19 questions.

However, they were no match for The Vixen who stormed through her round without even coming up for breath it would seem.

Outraged fans believed that the trio would have had it in the bad after being so successful and executing two pushbacks.

But, Jenny breezed few her questions, catching them with 15 seconds still to go on the clock.

This lead to widespread backlash from fans on Twitter who held host Bradley responsible as they accused him of blitzing through The Vixen’s round.

One tweet read: “How many more questions get squeezed in for the chaser in the final chase than for the team @ITVchase? It’s an absolute joke.”

Another online user said: “Bradley – you raced through the questions for the chaser tonight! #TheChase.”

While others were more outraged that Jenny’s questions appeared to be easier.

“I thought the Chaser’s set were less harder than the team’s tonight – they are usually more evenly balanced than that #thechase,” said one.

“‘What colour is feta cheese?’ ITV really didn’t want to give that money away #thechase,” fumed another.

“Chasers questions are a joke , ‘what colour is feta cheese?’ #thechase, gasped a third.”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
