The Chasers Road Trip fans speechless as Dark Destroyer is naked in the bath

The Chase rs Road Trip viewers were left stunned on Thursday night after The Dark Destroyer was filmed naked in the bath.

The quiz ace, whose real name is Shaun Wallace, allowed cameras into the bathroom as he joined hit ITV co-stars on a trek across America.

In one scene, the Mastermind champion enjoyed a long soak as he scrawled on his phone to update his general knowledge.

While the camera angle was careful to make sure Shaun’s modesty was intact, he seemingly was inches away from exposure.

The short scene made an impact on viewers of the hit programme, with social media quickly becoming flooded with cheeky innuendo-filled comments.

The Dark Destroyer is one of the main Chasers on ITV hit The Chase

During the episode Shaun joined Anne Hegerty and Mark Labbett on a visit to a research centre were Bonobo Kanzi has learned to understand English sentences.

Bonobos are closely related to chimps and thought to be as intelligent as humans.

The three Chasers went head to head with Kanzi in a memory test where they had to learn symbols before being asked to identify each one at random.

Each time Kanzi correctly answered question he was given a grape to eat as a reward.

In the end, all three of the stars failed to beat the primate.

Shaun and Anne both scored 17/30 on the lexigram test while Mark narrowly beat them both with 18/30.

However, the clever primate was miles ahead, scoring a massive 28/30.

The first episode of the series was praised by fans who were enjoying seeing the Chasers out of their usual TV studio environments.

One viewer said: “Last week was #BeatTheChasers & this week it’s #ChasersRoadTrip.

“I’d be happy with them taking over prime time every week, at least during lockdown.

“You’re my favourite, Anne Hegerty. Role model for those who need decompression time.”

A second chimed in: “Really enjoying this, seeing the chasers in a different light!

“Anne’s openness about autism is extremely refreshing too! #ChasersRoadTrip.”
