The Voice fans claim Olly Murs' hair is 'creepy' as they say 'give it a wash'

There may have been some killer voices on the latest episode of The Voice UK on Saturday night, but viewers were more concerned with Olly Murs ‘ hairdo.

The 36-year-old singer is one of the coaches on the popular ITV show, alongside Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Anne-Marie, but he certainly stands out.

The former X Factor star is currently rocking a bleached blonde hairstyle – but those tuning in at home don’t seem too keen on it.

Taking to Twitter, many viewers of The Voice were quick to comment on Olly’s appearance – as opposed to the incredible talent performing for him.

One person tweeted: “Olly Murs still has creepy hair,” while another added: “I like Olly but his hair is really bothering me.”

A third person posted: “I just want to give Olly a hair wash.”

It comes after Olly felt the need to apologise to a contestant on the show after making a big mistake.

Olly decided to reach out to contestant Drew Thomas to apologise, after all four coaches refused to turn their chairs for him.

Drew, 27, belted out a spectacular rendition of Taylor Swift’s Exile on the show but failed to make it through to the next round of the competition.

Watching the Nottingham-born singer on Saturday, Olly realised he was mistaken and contacted the singer via Twitter.

Apologising, he praised Drew’s performance, and admitted he was “gutted” over the decision that had been made at the time.

Olly wrote: “Wow @drewthomasmusic watching the show back… poor from us!

“I can only apologise and say sorry mate! Such a beautiful song and top voice! I am absolutely gutted.”

Thankfully, Drew made it clear he had no hard feelings towards the judges, despite the disappointing result.

“Thanks so much, mate! Was great to perform for you guys,” he quickly replied.
