Tipping Point fans were left in hysterics during Friday night’s instalment of the popular ITV game show after one budding contestant gave a bizarre answer during a quick-fire round.
Viewers tuned in for the final episode of the year of the classic daytime show, as Ben Shepherd welcomed five new contestants onto the show.
While the group fought it out for a chance to take home the cash prize, one contestant left hundreds of fans at home chortling with laughter as she crumbled under the pressure.
Eager contestant, Theresa, made it all the way to the third round of the show before she found herself grasping in at straws for answers the Good Morning Britain host was throwing at her.
As she struggled to keep up with her fellow competitors, the 47-year-old TV presenter asked her last round of questions on the show.
He asked: “Which unsolicited emails for the purpose of advertising share their name with which tinned meat product?”
As she buckled under pressure, the blonde belle panicked and replied: “Corned beef” before Ben chuckled as he gave her the correct answer: “Spam.”
And it’s fair to say viewers at home were left in stitches as they swarmed to Twitter to share their thoughts on the hysterical answer online.
One viewer penned: “Crying [three cry laughing emojis] #TippingPoint ‘Which unsolicited emails share their emails share their name with a tinned meat?’
“She said corned beef!” they revealed.
Another quipped: “I love getting corned beef in my inbox every day!”
While a third joked: “I’m off to check my email inbox for corned beef during the ad break #tippingpoint.”
Another chimed in with: “Corned beef emails … sounds better than spam mail … love it!”
Elsewhere, a fan of the show cheekily remarked: “Theresa is off to see if she has corned beef in.”
After a tense episode, it was Mark who won the cash prize and happily took home £3,200 for him and his family which he would be putting towards a well-deserved holiday in the new year.
