Twin Peaks actor Walter Olkewicz has died aged 72-years-old.
The star’s son Zak Olkewicz, who works as a screenwriter, sadly confirmed the news.
The Hollywood Reporter state that Olkewicz passed away at his Los Angeles hone on Tuesday morning.
For the past two deuces he had struggles with a series of health issues including issues with his joints.
Olkewicz had multiple knee operations which resulted in infection leading to him to become bedridden.
This forced him to halt his acting career.
During his long career, he appeared in Steven Spielberg’s 1941 and Joel Schumacher’s 1994 hit The Client.
In the later, Olkewicz played there of media lawyer Jerome Clifford.
On the small screen, Olkewicz had a impresive range of roles.
As well as part in Gary David Goldberg’s The Last Resort and in NBC’s Partners in Crime, he had a year long role in Dolly Partton’s ABC variety show playing the character of Bubba.
More recently in 2017 he starred in the 2017 Twin Peaks reboot.
The role was sadly his final acting credit.

His son sad: “It was his first role in almost 15 years, and he did it all from behind a bar to cover the fact that he couldn’t stand.”
Olkewicz first played the roe of Canadian Jacques on the first series of Twin Peaks in 1990.
This character was the brother of Michael Parks’ Jean and Clay Wilcox’s Bernie.
Two years later he returned in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
Olkewicz was also involved in 2014’s Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces.
