Ulrika Jonsson, 53, has been left devastated after her dog Fella passed away on Friday morning.
The sudden death of her bulldog comes after her other dog Nessie passed away in December from kidney failure.
Fella had been living predominantly in a foster home for the last two months before his passing, as he had “developed issues” with Ulrika’s other dog Leo.
The former presenter took to Instagram to share the sad news with her loyal supporters.
The star said: “My beloved Fella passed away in his sleep this morning.
“Many of you will know he came to me July 2019 as a handsome 9 yr old in very bad shape.”
She added: “The glorious @theedwardfoundation saved him and I cared for and loved him.
“He spent the last 2 1/2 months with foster mummy Clare, as Leo developed issues with Fella.
“He would have been 11 in June and oddly he came through very vividly in my thoughts yesterday. He was my boy and lived a wonderful life after his rescue.”
“His ashes will be scattered where Nessie and Dexter lie because I wanted my home to be his final resting place,” she added.
Fans also showed their remorse to the dog mum and showered her with much-needed support in the comment section.
One fan wrote: “Oh I’m so sorry …this is such sad news..you gave him a wonderful life.”
Another supporter penned: So sad! Thinking of you, they really are members of your family [love heart emoji] xxx”
Taking to Instagram recently, Ulrika recently shared Leo’s first day without Nessie.
Later on that day, The Gladiators presenter went to lay flowers at Nessie’s grave with her pup Leo and revealed to fans that she buried Nessie next to her other late dog, Dexter.
The mother of four also expressed the torment she was feeling that day regarding the loss of her dog Nessie.
The star wrote: “All I can smell is #grief. Ma grande dame. My firstborn fur baby.
“Has spent 48hrs at our lovely vet’s. She’s not going to win this battle. I’ve been beyond distraught and bereft.
