Where glam 90s It Girls are now from career U-turn, cocaine blowouts and tragic death

They were the It girls of the 1990s – the glamorous party-loving socialites who drank champagne, travelled on private jets and were famous simply for being famous.

Now one of the best known, Sophie Anderton, has been back in the headlines after marrying multi-millionaire Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill last weekend at a lavish ceremony in Ireland.

But what happened to Sophie and the other It girls after they found fame? Daily Star investigates…

Sophie shot to fame in 1996 aged just 19 as the face – and body – of Gossard’s Wonderbra.

But the ex-public schoolgirl from Bristol fell victim to both drugs and unsuitable boyfriends, including former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Bosnich – who was a cocaine addict.

At the height of her addiction, Sophie blew £400 on cocaine every day and downed a bottle of vodka.

The model admits to not remembering chunks of her 20s and estimates her 15-year addiction cost her £10million

The model, who appeared on Love Island, I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother, has now found happiness with Polish toff Kaz, who works in the oil business and was previously married to TV chef Lorraine Pascale.

Sophie, 44, describes Kaz, 52, as her “best friend, soulmate and lifetime partner in crime”.
