Will Smith once again bared all to show the world what he’s working with as he tries to get beyond being in the ‘worst shape’ of his life.
Sharing a clip on Instagram of his exhausting workout routine, Will captioned the post ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ as a reference to his 2006 feature of the same name.
The clip cuts together footage of Will doing various workout from squats to bicep curls and beyond as he tries to cut down his extra weight.
The Hollywood star had posted a photo of himself at the start of his journey with the caption: “This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing through the pantry.
“I love this body, but I wanna feel better. No more midnight muffins; this is it! Imma get in the best shape of my life!”
He added: “Teaming up with YouTube to get my health and wellness back on track. Hope it works!”
We’re now beginning to see the results of that promise to get back on track as Will flaunts his efforts to better himself physically.
The original post got a few celebrity voices in the comments congratulating him, wishing him luck and making jokes before he started the journey.
Diplo joked: “This is staged… Your gonna have abs in like three days.”
Casey Neistat said: “You’re a real one for this.”
Famed bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote: “Will, you poor baby, I’m crying for you, even though you’re still in better shape than 90% of America. Keep pumping!”
Will’s upcoming YouTube series following the journey will be in six parts, titled Best Shape of My Life.
The series will be produced by Westbrook, the production company he and his partner Jada Pinkett Smith co-founded to create their own content.
Carrying a great message of body positivity, Will is highlighting that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has caused a lot of people to gain weight – and that’s not a bad thing.
