X Factor's Lucy Spraggan unrecognisable after weight loss and glam makeover

Former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan, 30, looked like another person entirely in the recent transformation pictures she uploaded to Instagram.

The Tea and Toast singer uploaded two pictures of her performing at Manchester Pride Festival. One was taken in 2013, and the other was taken on the Bank Holiday weekend.

The two pictures couldn’t be further apart from one another.

Lucy has undergone a dramatic weight loss transformation and now has an enviable physique.

The star showed off her washboard abs in a matching powder-blue suit from King and Allen with a tight white bralette underneath.

The confident outfit was a far cry from Lucy’s baggy Fred Perry polo shirts.

Lucy has also revamped her hairstyle. The singer-songwriter could be seen with gorgeous blonde shoulder-length locks that shaped her face beautifully.

The self-proclaimed gym junkie has made fitness a new priority in her life.

She now owns a fitness training company Fully Rewired as well as pursuing her music career.

It’s not just her fitness journey that sets Lucy worlds apart from her 2013 self, she also commented on how she’s progressed mentally in the past few years.

Captioning the transformation pictures, Lucy wrote: “Same festival, different headspace.

“I’m not entirely sure I’m sold on when people say ‘trust the process’. I get it in some circumstances, like, when things are out of your control.”

She added: “I think before I thought that ‘the process’ was just existing. Waiting for something to happen.

“Relying on ‘the process’ to throw good things my way. But ‘the process’ isn’t just living, is it?!

“It’s not waiting or expecting. It’s not even grabbing the bull by the horns!! It’s being there when the calf is f***ing born and raising it yourself so you won’t ever *need* to fight the bull.

“Now more than ever I am relying less on trusting anything that is not being propelled properly first.

“Even when someone tells you to trust their process, double back on that. I fell for diet/workout plans that stopped my period and continued through that (which is an absolute no-no) for ‘the process’.”

Lucy is now proud to have her life on track and “applying everything” she can to assist her journey.
