A Place in the Sun star Jonnie Irwin fears this Christmas could be his last amid his battle with terminal cancer.
The TV star, 49, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, which has spread to his brain, in August 2020 and given just six months to live.
Since then, the star has smashed through doctors’ expectations and went on to share the news of his cancer publicly last month.

But the star has admitted Christmas will be “tricky” to handle amid his health condition.
Speaking to The Sun, Jonnie confessed: “I’d be lying if I didn’t say that Christmas will be tricky. I’m not saying this will be my last one because I don’t know for certain.
“I want to be here as long as I can but it could be. And I want to enjoy it and just spend time with Jess and the kids.”
Jonnie is loved up with his wife Jess Holmes, who he tied the knot with in 2016 after just a year of dating.
They share three sons – Rex, three, and twin boys Rafa and Cormac, both 18 months.
Jonnie explained that he hasn’t told his sons that he’s terminally ill, explaining to Hello! Magazine that Rex is entertained by his hair loss, giving his dad the nickname ‘spiky head’.
He said: “He doesn’t need to know yet. As far as he’s concerned, his dad is normal and why would I shatter that innocence?”
Continuing: “One day, this is going to catch up with me.
“But I’m doing everything I can to hold that day off for as long as possible. I owe that to Jess and our boys.
“Some people in my position have bucket lists, but I just want us to do as much as we can as a family.”

It comes after the news of his diagnosis was shared with co-star Scarlette Douglas after her time in the I’m A Celeb jungle.
Upon her exit, Scarlette said: “I had heard but I didn’t realise it was terminal, which makes it sound imminent.
“On A Place In The Sun we’re always in different locations and we never really get to see each other.
“Sometimes our paths might cross but I think I probably only met Jonnie in person maybe three times, a handful of times, but it was always just brilliant.
“And I remember when I was doing my screen test for it, I’d watch a lot of his shows because he was confident with the house hunters. He was just on it. He knew everything, you know, you never question Jonnie. Jonnie was just so knowledgeable.”
