Aaron Taylor-Johnson signed up to Bullet Train just to 'slap Brad Pitt around'

Aaron Taylor-Johnson signed up to Bullet Train to ‘Slap Brad Pitt Around’.

The 32-year-old actor is best known for his performances in Kick Ass, it’s 2013 sequel and for his performances as Pietro Maximoff in several films and TV projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But the Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging actor stars as British assassin Tangerine in the summer action flick Bullet Train – directed by David Leitch – alongside the likes of Brad Pitt and Joey King.

Before introducing the movie, Aaron hints that he signed up for the feature flick because he was especially looking forward to the action stunt sequences that involved him and multi-Academy Award winning star Brad Pitt.

When he was asked about the training that was involved in preparing for the movie, Aaron explained: “I think [training] is one thing we all do. This is a David Leitch action movie, that’s what we all signed up for.”

He added: “I think we all thought each character had their moment and they get a great stunt sequence.”

But despite the extensive training involved for preparing to star in a summer blockbuster, Aaron revealed his main reason he signed on the dotted line was to “slap” the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actor.

Aaron exclaimed: “You know, part of that was to slap Brad Pitt around, so… where do we sign?”

The actor added: “It was amazing!”.

Meanwhile Brad Pitt takes centre stage in the new comedy action film as trained assassin Ladybug and he was all smiles at the Premiere last night alongside fellow cast members including Brian Tyree Henry and Golden Globe nominated Joey King.

His character wants to give up the life of a killer but is instead pulled back in by his handler Maria Beetle played by Sandra Bullock.

His mission is to collect a valuable briefcase on a bullet train. But onboard, he and other competing assassins discover their objectives are all connected.

But despite a plot that suggests a lot of suspense, Brad thinks the new flick will be a summer of laughs for his fans and moviegoers.

The Fight Club star explained: “I never got to do this before, I think it’s really, really funny. I think it’s perfect for the summer.”

He added: “You guys are going to have a big laugh!”.
