Alesha Dixon runs off Britain's Got Talent set after spine-chilling audition

Britain’s Got Talent will tonight (April 30) show an explosively terrifying audition where a witch caused utter chaos on stage.

Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were terrified of the act, leaving them both screaming, and Alesha running offset.

The witch held a bug-infested apple in front of unsuspecting judges, as she cackled: “You know why they always say beauty is only skin deep? Because we’re all rotten to the core!”

The judges were utterly gobsmacked when the apple exploded sending insects flying into their faces.

Alesha and Amanda escape from the judge’s podium and run to the crowd for cover, with Alesha deciding she wouldn’t return to her judge’s seat.

The singer was so terrified she wouldn’t come back to her seat until all the creepy crawlies had been completely removed.

Fan favourite Amanda yelled: “This is why I’ve never gone on I’m a Celebrity… Get me Out of Here! it’s horrible!”

However, Alesha was less than impressed as she screeched: “I’m socially distancing from the cockroaches!”

An audience member told The Sun: “It was hilarious for us watching, of course, the girls screaming and falling over themselves to get away from it all.

“But with those fancy dresses on, you could see that they were getting annoyed.”

Amanda later went on to say: “This apple suddenly smashed and out poured all these maggots and cockroaches all over the desk. You have to watch it to believe it.

“You just know straight away that it’s going to be an act we’ll probably see more of.”

The episode is an emotional rollercoaster as judges Alesha and Amanda are surprised with a celebration for their 10-year anniversary of appearing on the show.

Hosts Ant and Dec reveal a choir from behind a curtain for the judges, who were joined by Simon Cowell and David Walliams.

A three-piece choir begin to sing: “Congratulations on our 10-year anniversary and from the start these two have been there to guide you, the nation’s favourite duo Ant and Dec!”

David then commented: “There was quite a lot about you in it! It ended being about you as well!” as the other judges chuckled.
